All...I wish I could have gotten to know him better. All the stories abouth im at the funeral made me realize what an awesome grandpa you guys had. He sounds like he was a hoot. I'm glad I got to meet him a couple times. I guess my favorite memory of him is the lectures Chad and Shay would always get when we'd go visit. I just got the sense that he loved them both so much he just wanted to be SURE that they knew how important it was to make good decisions.Mary Ludwighttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06227264051309538066noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8422134646062104956.post-89599166521854343962009-05-13T13:57:00.000-06:002009-05-13T13:57:00.000-06:00Loved the tribute bro!! I also didn't get a chance to submit a favorite memory, but mine was when we were on the trek out west, and he was driving our rental truck and when we stopped for the night at a hotel, somehow later on, a skunk ended up under the moving van, just chilling...and grandpa attempted to lure it out with a tantalizing OREO cookie...cant recall the outcome, but it just made me laugh and something I will never forget!!Shayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04861670821553876404noreply@blogger.com
